I resigned from my last job in September. I had a feeling I was about to get fired so I hastily resigned. Was there for the last 6 years working in finance as fraud investigator. I was passed over for promotions 3 different times and each time someone was promoted with less experience then I was.
I filled out hundreds or applications. Used indeed, linked in, Glassdoor all of them basically all of them. Paid for linked in premium and resume now.
So I started looking at careers in the finance industry but had no luck. Had years of customer service experience so I tailored my resume to customer service.
Fast forward to today had an interview this morning at 11. It was the first solid lead I had in a while. Interview went good. Was about 20 minutes long. She said well let you know in a few days. I got an offer letter 4 hours later making more money then I did before! I’m so happy I couldn’t believe it
Don’t give up. Stay at it. The right job is always around the corner !!
