Interaction with boss slightly bothers me, is it just me?

Hi everyone

l'll try and keep it short. So, our small team of 6 were having a casual chat before a meeting one day while waiting for our boss to join. Social media was the point of discussion and how just about everybody is guilty of "stalking" (checking people's profiles out) on social media to learn more about them (especially when new colleagues join the team). At that point, my boss came in and started adding to the conversation. One of the things he said was that it's true that people do that, heck it's not just CV's that are important these days, they also go look at every social media page of candidates to see what the person is like. Then he made a comment saying on Linkedin they can see everything, and it's very nice. They can see the type of stuff people share and like and that tells them a lot about the person. And then he continued saying that people who like those posts about toxic workplaces and bosses (the posts that highlights what a toxic environment looks like, and what a healthy one should look like), those people are red flags. He then gave a scoff and weird smile and said that now you're all probably gonna go have a look at everything you've liked before.

Do you think that those people on Linkedln who react/ like posts about toxic bosses are really red flags and what are your thoughts about this whole interaction and what my boss said?
