Need some advice writing an Acceptance Withdrawal letter

Hey everyone 🥹 truly wishing all job seekers the best news to come. This journey was not easy, hoping my story can help, as I myself am in need of some help! ❤️❤️❤️

Last year I had a striking interview with one of my dream companies, I unfortunately did not get the position I wanted, as their selected candidate had more experience. I told them that I would gladly work for any position that fit my skills, and the talent acquisition guy assured I would be on the radar come 2025 when their new budget rolls out. You obviously cannot always trust that they would- so I applied to thousands of jobs, hundreds of which had unique cover letters. I eventually landed a position at a lovely startup with decent benefits.

Lo and behold last week, my dream company really DID reach out with a position , just as I had signed the previous offer letter from the previous company. So dream company then interviewed me before posting the job on LinkedIn and the hiring manager was sold on hiring me before even posting the job. They’re offering 10k more than company 1.

I have NEVER been in this situation before. This job market SUCKS- I can’t even fathom that 2 companies want me at the same time. I am so grateful- and I want to email a letter to the first company highlighting just how grateful I am to the team for their offer, but I must rescind it.

I’m old school and don’t use AI just good old Reddit for simple advice. Please help me write company 1 a withdrawal letter that emphasizes how grateful I am for their offer.

Flow chart attached for visual reference to the hell I went through for 8 months. Thank you all!
